Good morning birders,
The massive numbers of birds which were in the Park yesterday seem to have
moved on quickly. Birding has been a bit slower today but there’s still
some good birds hanging around.
There was a report of a MISSISSIPPI KITE flying over Tilden.
A late MEADOWLARK SP. was seen at the Tip. Also at the Tip, there was a
LITTLE GULL. A RED-HEADED WOODPECKER was also noted.
The number of warbler species noted so far is about 15.
That includes CANADA, REDSTART, TENNESSEE, CAPE MAY, BAY-BREASTED and
MAGNOLIA.
A number of SCARLET TANAGERS and flycatchers have been seen throughout and
the WHITE-EYED VIREO is still hanging around on Redbud Seasonal Trail.
Good birding,
Pete, Aaron, Mark and Felix
