A rather grey and wet morning has not deterred a hardy group of birders from visiting the park! Regardless of the weather, there are still many birds around, although the birding remains somewhat slow. 18 Warbler species have been observed so far this morning. Exciting birds at the tip include 10 AMERICAN WHITE PELICANS, and a first summer LITTLE GULL. There was an overnight influx of thrushes into the park, with many SWAINSON'S THRUSH and a few GRAY-CHEEKED THRUSH being reported. PROTHONOTARY WARBLERS continue to impress on the Woodland Nature Trail and the Shuster trail. Three EASTERN BLUEBIRDS were a surprise on Woodland.
