BLACK-BELLIED WHISTLING-DUCK (Essex): There were two birds at Lake Erie
Country Club marsh by Holiday Beach on April 30.

Eurasian Wigeon (Dufferin): Tom Steller found a male at Mallard Pond at
Luther Marsh on April 30 that continued to May 5.
Eurasian Wigeon (Frontenact): Peter Waycik photographed a male on Howe
Island on April 29.

TUFTED DUCK (Essex): A male was seen by many around the tip of Point Pelee
April 29.

King Eider (Toronto): The young male present the last two weeks off Marilyn
Bell Park and Ontario Place continued to at least April 30.

Harlequin Duck (Algoma): Vicki St Germaine photographed a female type in
the Michipicoten River at Hwy 17 on May 5.
Harlequin Duck (Durham): The male continued off Thickson's Point to at
least May 2.

Eared Grebe (Essex): Lory Cantin found one off the east side of the tip of
Point Pelee on May 5 that was seen by many.

Western Grebe (Toronto): Margaret Hough photographed one at Colonel Sam
Smith Park on April 29.

Eurasian Collared-Dove (Chatham-Kent): The Shrewsbury bird, found March 2
by Steve Charbonneau, was reported to at least May 4 this week.
Eurasian Collared-Dove (Essex): One bird is back at the same location near
the intersection of Rds 5 and 31 outside of Leamington where up to two were
present last year.

White-winged Dove (Simcoe): David Giannunzio photographed one at feeders in
Orillia on May 3.

American Avocet (Essex): Delmar Doucette had one bird in a field south of
Hillman Marsh early on May 5.

MARSH SANDPIPER (Lambton): James Holdsworth found one on April 30 at
Thedford Sewage Lagoons that was subsequently seen by hundreds. It was seen
reliably daily.

Laughing Gull (Essex): Evan Sinclair reported one at Fish Point on Pelee
Island on May 3.

Franklin's Gull (Chatham-Kent): Kevin Gevaert reported an adult at Erieau
on May 3.

Snowy Egret (Ottawa): There were two reports from May 1 on the west side of
the Bruce Peninsula.
Snowy Egret (Chatham-Kent): Marvin and Janet Medelko reported one from
Angler Line near Mitchells Bay on May 2.
Snowy Egret (Essex): Dana Latour found one along Mersea Rd 21 on May 3.

Cattle Egret (Essex): Jeremy Hatt reported one from the Windsor Solid Waste
Authority Regional Landfill site on May 5.
Cattle Egret (Halton): The bird found last week at Alton Ponds was reported
again on April 29.

WHITE-FACED IBIS (Chatham-Kent): Jeff Tunstall found one at the Erieau
Marsh Trail on May 4 that was seen by many the same day and again on May 5.
WHITE-FACED IBIS (Essex): One bird was at Hillman Marsh briefly on May 5.

Black Vulture (Essex): One bird was seen west of Kingsville on May 1 by Dan
and Samantha Nauta.

SAY'S PHOEBE (Thunder Bay): James Barber found and photographed one at
Chippewa Lagoons on APril 30. It was still there on May 1.

Western Kingbird (Frontenac): Erwin Batalla found one at Marshlands CA late
on May 5.

SCISSOR-TAILED FLYCATCHER (Northumberland): The bird found on Bayshore
Drive on April 27 was seen to April 29.

Lark Sparrow (Essex): Paul Pratt found one at Blue Heron in Point Pelee on
May 4.
Lark SParrow (Ottawa): Kevin Hannah found one near Twin Elm on May 2 that
continued to May 3 and was seen by many.
Lark Sparrow (Thunder Bay): James Barber found one at Chippewa Lagoons on
APril 30 that was seen again May 1.

Harris's Sparrow (Essex): One bird was at Holiday Beach CA and seen by many
APril 29-May 5.
Harris's Sparrow (Prescott and Russell): The bird at 1696 Vankleek Hill Rd
remained to at least April 30.

Henslow's Sparrow (Chatham-Kent): There was one bird seen by several
observers at Rondeau on May 1-2 found by Craig Anderson.

Worm-eating Warbler (Essex): One bird was along Redbud trail April 29-30
and another was in Post Woods May 4-5. Josh Vandermeulen found one on
Cooper Rd on Pelee Island on May 2.

Kentucky Warbler (Chatham-Kent): There was one on South Point Trail on
April 30.
Kentucky Warbler (Essex): In Point Pelee, one bird was seen on the bike
trail north of dunes on April 30, another was seen May 1 by the halfway
tram stop and another was seen May 5 at Sanctuary.
Kentucky Warbler (Norfolk): One was at Long Point Provincial Park APril
29-May 3.

Kirtland's Warbler (Norfolk): Stu Mackenzie reported one at Long Point
Provincial Park on May 2.

Yellow-throated Warbler (Essex): In Point Pelee, one was seen April 29-30
near the tip, one was by the VC on May 2, and one was at Tilden's/Shuster
Trail on May 4-5. Pelee Island had one west of Scudder on May 3.
Yellow-throated Warbler (Toronto): Zachary Orwan reported one on May 3 from
Queen's Park.
Yellow-throated Warbler (York): Cathy Brown found one in Newmarket on the
Tom Taylor Trail that was seen by many May 1-4.

BLACK-THROATED GRAY WARBLER (Peel): One was photographed in MIssissauga at
Lake Wabukayne on May 5.

SWAINSON'S WARBLER (Norfolk): Long Point's fourth was banded at Breakwater
on April 30 by Long Point Bird Observatory. For more details see the Long

Summer Tanager (Essex): One bird was at Fish Point, Pelee Island on May 2.
