Neotropic Cormorant - Ottawa

The bird is still present at Dow's Lake throughout the day. It rests on the
east end of the gravel bar near the pavilion with Double-crested Cormorants
most of the time, only leaving to fish briefly every 1-2 hours. It leaves
between 4:45 and 5:15 to overnight on the Ottawa River. This pattern may
continue but once the water is added to the canal for boating season next
month, it may find another site if it is still in Ottawa.
