This is the final summer to participate in the Ontario Breeding Bird Atlas:
a once in a generation community science opportunity to share your bird
observations that will help shape provincial conservation strategies and
policies for years to come.  Atlassing is also a great way to improve your
birding skills and explore new birding locations.

Though peak breeding season concludes today (Thursday 10 July) you can
still add species and upgrade breeding evidence after July 10.  All your
observations are both valuable and welcome: even that bird you only see or
hear counts as a possible breeding bird.  Is it carrying food or tending
young?  That confirms a breeding bird.

To participate, visit www.ontariobirds.org or contact Aaron Hywarren, the
Ottawa Region Coordinator at Ottawa@birdsontario.org
