Birders-
The VAFL is seen the majority of the time on the side of a ravine. It is sometimes seen at the top of the ravine which is the open field edge behind the parking lot and past the white tower. It is also seen at the bottom of the ravine which is edged by the trail previously described by others, which starts by travelling over the wooden bridge west of the skate board area. That trail eventually goes uphill to the field. I also found it by walking back towards the bridge, on the stream side of the trail. So, that's 3 places between 3pm and 4:30.
