Observation start time: 06:00:00
Observation end  time: 16:00:00
Total observation time: 10 hours

Official Counter:        Dave Brown

Observers:        Bill Smith, Brandon Holden, Keith Sealy, Michael Sandell,
Tom Bolohan, Tom Stewart, Tom Thomas

Visitors:
LOTS of visitors today to the observation knoll and a big thanks to
everyone who helped spotting birds in a tough sky.

Weather:
Winds moderate NE to start and much cooler at 9C then warming up to 21C.
Winds eventually went ENE and then E and finally SE to end the day. Almost
completely clear blue skies today made spotting the birds tough as they day
wore on.

Raptor Observations:
Great up-flight of Broadwings today with the bulk of today's count coming
in the hours before noon. The BWs especially just got higher and higher
till we could no longer see them passing overhead and I'm sure we missed
thousands if not 10s of thousands migrating through the region today.

Non-raptor Observations:
Some decent non-raptors around today... check out the following eBird
checklist for details:

https://ebird.org/checklist/S118812580

Predictions:
The powers that be are forecasting moderate SW winds for Friday which may
bring some birds like Osprey, N. Harriers, Am. Kestrels and Bald Eagles
along the cliff edge and possibly an early Peregrine.
