A Scott’s Oriole was present in Grey County from November 11th-December
31st. The bird is long gone but I want to let the community know as you
will hear (or have heard) about it. It was at a private residence and I was
trying to negotiate access for the community post lock down but the bird
apparently succumbed. I became aware of it on December 28th and saw it on
the 29th. Only the landowner was aware of it before that but she didn’t
know what it was. The eBird report is available at
https://ebird.org/checklist/S78220274. I have submitted a report to OBRC.
