Official Counter: Chris Burris
Observers: Dave Brown, Ken Wootton, Mac McAlpine, Tom Stewart
Visitors:
The number of people on the platform rivalled the number of raptors
observed today.
Weather:
Overcast and humid early one with a few patches of sun later. Temps 5C-10C.
Robust WNW/NW winds throughout the period.
Raptor Observations:
Eager observers were quite disappointed as a noteworthy flight simply
failed to materialize.
Non-raptor Observations:
Fox Sparrow, Lincoln's Sparrow, and Red-throated Loon were the highlights.
eBird list here: https://ebird.org/checklist/S282235818
Predictions:
The forecast is for partly sunny skies and moderate winds beginning WNW and
shifting towards NW as the day progresses. As the second day after the
passing of the front, hopefully a better flight will result.
