BARNACLE GOOSE (Northumberland): Doug McRae and Nicole Richardson found one
at Presqu'ile PP on May 22 that was later found just outside of Brighton,
where it was again reported by several observers the next day.

TUFTED DUCK x scaup sp. (hybrid) (Toronto): The male bird found February 9
off Tommy Thompson Park continued to at least May 18.

White-winged Dove (Cochrane): Angie and Ken Williams found one in Smooth
Rock Falls on May 17 that remained to at least May 18.

BLACK-NECKED STILT (Middlesex): The one found by Mark Bakelaar at Strathroy
Sewage Lagoons on April 9 continued to at least May 23.

Parasitic Jaeger (Norfolk): Max Segler reported one off Long Point
Provincial Park on May 22.
Parasitic Jaeger (Toronto): Several observers reported one off Colonel Sam
Smith Park on May 21.

Laughing Gull (Niagara): Jean and Blayne Farnan found and photographed one
at Morgan's Point on May 22.
Laughing Gull (Toronto): Raspberry Yow-Fairs and Jackson Ceedub found one
at Tommy Thompson Park that was seen briefly and photographed by a few
others on May 18.

Arctic Tern (Durham): Up to six birds were reported from several locations
along the Durham waterfront on May 23.
Arctic Tern (Ottawa): A larger passage of up to 41 birds were reported from
Britannia Point by many observers on May 20.
Arctic Tern (Peel): Peter L photographed a flock of at least 25 birds off
Mississauga on May 21.
Arctic Tern (Toronto): Up to 18 birds were reported off the Toronto
waterfront from various locations by various observers on May 22. A single
bird was photographed by many people at Colonel Sam Smith Park on May 22.

Pacific Loon (Prince Edward): Paul Jones photographed one off Charwell
Point on May 22.

NEOTROPIC CORMORANT (Essex): One bird was seen and photographed by many
observers off the tip of Point Pelee May 19-21.
NEOTROPIC CORMORANT (Simcoe): Anthony Glenesk photographed one at
Matchedash Bay on May 20.

Western Cattle Egret (Chatham-Kent): George Prieksaitis reported one from
Eatonville on May 18.

Glossy Ibis (Essex): A mixed flock at Hillman Marsh on May 22 held nine
individuals.
Glossy Ibis (Waterloo): A mixed flock found by Al Woodhouse between
Erbsville and Heidelberg on May 23 held five individuals.

WHITE-FACED IBIS (Essex): A mixed flock at Hillman Marsh on May 22 held two
individuals.
WHITE-FACED IBIS (Waterloo): A mixed flock found by Al Woodhouse between
Erbsville and Heidelberg on May 23 held one individual.

Black Vulture (Norfolk): Presumably the bird reported over Long Point
Provincial Park on May 16, one was seen at various locations on Long Point
this week May 18-23.

SWALLOW-TAILED KITE (Essex): One bird passed over Hillman Marsh on May 22
and then was later seen travelling west.

Mississippi Kite (Essex): A few observers photographed one over Point Pelee
on May 21.

FERRUGINOUS HAWK (Essex): Dean Ware found one (presumably the bird from
further east earlier this month) by Holiday Beach on May 19 that was seen
by several observers at a few locations as it travelled eastward.

ASH-THROATED FLYCATCHER (Huron): Jake Nafziger photographed one just north
of Grand Bend on May 19.

Western Kingbird (Peel): Nathan Hood photographed one as it briefly stopped
at Lakeside Park in Mississauga on May 23.

CASSIN'S VIREO (Simcoe): On May 23, Lev Frid and Stephanie Pereira found a
possible Cassin's Vireo at the Holland Marsh that was seen and documented
by many observers. Identification discussion and the possibility of it
being a Yellow-throated x Blue-headed Vireo continues but the bird is
apparently paired with a Yellow-throated Vireo and may stick around for

Black-billed Magpie (CHATHAM-KENT): Two birds continued this week from the
Shrewsbury area.

Townsend's Solitaire (Wellington): Abigail Clifford and Joseph Langlois
reported one in Guelph on May 16.

EURASIAN TREE SPARROW (Thunder Bay): The two individuals found by Jeff
Robinson  at Sunshine Loop on May 16 continued to at least May 18.
EURASIAN TREE SPARROW (Kenora): Merle Nisly photographed one in Red Lake on
May 19.

LARK BUNTING (Thunder Bay): Thunder Cape Bird Observatory banded one on May
21 that remained until at least May 23.

Worm-eating Warbler (Frontenac): Darren Rayner reported one from Opinicon
Rd on May 18.
Worm-eating Warbler (Prince Edward): Mark Patry found one at Prince Edward
Point that was seen by many observers on May 18.

Kirtland's Warbler (Essex): Jeff Skevington reported one singing near the
tip of Point Pelee on May 18.
Kirtland's Warbler (Simcoe): A migrant was photographed in Collingwood by
John Wright on May 22.'
