Thanks to Tom B and Ken for doing today's count.
Weather:
Winds were moderate from the WNW and W for the day with very little cloud
cover till about 1:00 pm. Temps started cold at -5C and got to a high of
just 2C.
Raptor Observations:
Not a bad flight today with 231 total raptors including some good quality
birds with Golden Eagles (4) and Red-shouldered Hawks (8). Most of today's
fligth was again Redtails (175).
Non-raptor Observations:
None reported.
Predictions:
The forecast is for SSW and SW winds over the next couple of days which
will not keep the birds down along the Lake Erie shoreline. They'll most
likely pass along further inland towards St. Thomas.
