Thank you. Weather: Winds varied from SW-WNW and increased from morning to afternoon. Skies were spotless for the most part with only a few wispy cirrus clouds. The pressure dropped throughout the day. Raptor Observations: The highlight of the day was an adult American Goshawk (our 4th of the season)! flying directly over the count site in the morning! Two peregrine falcons also gave some good views circling close in front of us. A single golden eagle made an appearance as well. Although the main turkey vulture migration is over, a few stragglers still trickled through. Non-raptor Observations: Other than a flock of shorebirds that flew past, a few crows and the ever-present gulls, there was not a lot of non-raptor activity today.
