Total:                    1193          18686          18686

Observation start time: 08:00:00
Observation end  time: 14:00:00
Total observation time: 6 hours

Official Counter:        1Counter

Observers:        Jim Bradshaw, Kitty Bradshaw

Visitors:
Only one visitor noted today on the report. Thanks to Kitty and Jim with
help from Paul C to get a count done today.

Weather:
Clear blue skies today and a much cooler start at 6C.  The air dried
quickly and the temp climbed to 19C by the end of the count period. Winds
were light NE for most of the morning and much longer than had been
forecast backing to the E only in the last hour.

Raptor Observations:
Not a bad flight today and likely thanks to the winds hanging in from the
NE for longer than expected. A total of 1,193 raptors were counted with
Broadwings (933) and Sharpies (153) and Am Kestrels (46) making up most of
the flight. A couple more Osprey came through along with singles of Merlin,
Peregrine and an early Roughie.

Non-raptor Observations:
A couple of things reported with RT Hummingbirds (10) and Northern Flicker
(6).

Predictions:
Winds are forecast to be light and variable for the weekend so it's pretty
tough to predict what if any kind of flight will occur. There will be birds
that go through but I'm not expecting any large flights.
