Visitors:
Thanks to Noel, Ian and Liz for helping with the count. It was good to meet
Carrie, Jim and Richard who took an interest in the Hawk Watch.

Weather:
Started overcast with drizzle moderate wind from N. Gradually cleared with
wind changing to SW and temperature rising to 24 degC from an initial low
of 14 degC.

Raptor Observations:
Broad-winged Hawks mostly seen high to the north, again topped the chart
with 14 out a total of 47.

Non-raptor Observations:
Slightly fewer species today, still a few warblers mostly seen after
midday. Northern Shoveler, American Black Duck and Solitary Sandpiper new

Predictions:
Wind will be strong from the south west tomorrow, temperatures about the
same as today. Let's hope the strong wind encourages more flight by the
Raptors.
