Good morning birders, We are having a great birding day today as many migrants have arrived. A WORM-EATING WARBLER was found near the south end of Redbud Trail. There is still a lingering YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT along that trail near the bench. Aliso noted along that trail was a WHITE-EYED VIREO heard. In Tip woods people report a YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT and there is another at Cactus Field. Also seen in the Tip Woods was a GOLDEN-WINGED WARBLER. A RED-HEADED WOODPECKER continues to be seen in Tilden Woods. PROTHONOTARY WARBLERs have been noted in the usual wet spots especially at bridge F on the Woodland Trail. A COMMON RAVEN was noted soaring above the Woodland Trail. A CLAY-COLORED SPARROW was seen at the Tip. About 20 species of warbler have been noted on one of our best migration days so far.
