Details: I have tried to indicate the finder, where known. My apologies to
those who I have left out.

BLACK-BELLIED WHISTLING-DUCK (Niagara): The long-staying bird remained at
Dufferin Islands to at least January 6.

TUFTED DUCK (Durham): A male was discovered January 6 at Frenchman's Bay by
Matthew Toby and Luke Berg and seen by several observers through the rest
of the day.
TUFTED DUCK (Frontenac): A male was photographed by Rick Beaudon at
Cataraqui Bay in Kingston on December 31 but has not been seen since.

King Eider (Lambton): The female found off Point Edward by Matt Parsons
December 24 remained until at least December 31.

King Eider (Niagara): The second-year male remained off Niagara-on-the-Lake
(mostly from Nelson Park and Queens Royal Park) to at least January 2.

Harlequin Duck (Algoma): One bird was seen again this week in Sault Ste.
Marie. This time from the Pine St. Marina on January 2.
Harlequin Duck (Durham): The male was again off Thickson's Point, reported
to at least January 4.
Harlequin Duck (Halton): The female found last week by Mark Jennings off
Burloak Park was seen again January 1. A male was found by Mark Jennings
off Suncor Pier in Oakville January 6. .
Harlequin Duck (Lambton): The female-type bird continued off the Point
Edward area to January 6.
Harlequin Duck (Toronto): A male continued in the vicinity of Ontairo Place
and Marilyn Bell Park to at least January 6, a female-type bird continued
off the area near Ashbridges Bay/Tommy Thompson Park to at least January 4
and up to three birds were off Tommy Thompson Park December 31.

Barrow's Goldeneye (Durham): A male continued off Whitby, mostly around
Lynde Creek/Lynde Shores CA and the Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health
Sciences.
Barrow's Goldeneye (Grey): The Owen Sound Harbour bird continued.
Barrow's Goldeneye (Ottawa): Up to two males continued from the Strathcona
Park area this week.

RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD (Halton): The bird near Sedgewick Forest was last seen
January 3.

Red Phalarope (Northumberland): One bird was discovered at Cobourg Harbour
January 6 by Simone Merey and seen by several observers late in the day.

RAZORBILL (Niagara): After disappearing for a few days early in the year,
up to three birds were seen at once this week,  off Niagara-on-the-Lake

Black-legged Kittiwake (Niagara): Ken Burrell reported two juveniles off
the flypast at dusk from Niagara-on-the-lake on January 1 and several
observers had one bird from Queenston to at least January 6.

GLAUCOUS-WINGED GULL (Hamilton): Alvan Buckley found what appears to be the
Barrie bird at Bayfront Park at the end of the day on January 6.

Black Vulture (Niagara): Up to 7 birds were reported from Queenston this
week.

Black-billed Magpie (ALGOMA): The Echo Lake bird is now present into its
eighth calendar year with reports on January 1-3.

Blue-gray Gnatcatcher (Chatham-Kent): The Rondeau PP bird was reported
again this week on December 31.
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher (Halton): Up to two birds remained at Sedgewick
Forest Park to at least January 6.

MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRD (Wellington): The bird found two weeks ago remained at
the Powerline Trail to December 6.

Varied Thrush (Timiskaming): One bird is visiting a feeder in Elk Lake.

Veery (Lennox and Addington): Bruce Di Labio reported one bird at Amherst
Island on January 2.

GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW (Toronto): The Scarborough Golden-crowned Sparrow
found by Karl Konze continued this week.

Harris's Sparrow (Hamilton): The Inksetter Rd bird continued this week.

Nelson's Sparrow (Chatham-Kent): The Keith McLean CA bird was seen again
January 1, 4 and 5.

SPOTTED TOWHEE (Thunder Bay): One bird is visiting a feeder in Terrace Bay.

Yellow-headed Blackbird (Essex): One bird was seen by many at Jack Miner's
January 2.

Palm Warbler (Toronto): One bird was photographed at Marilyn Bell Park on
December 31 by Jessica Smith.

BLACK-THROATED GRAY WARBLER (Durham): On January 4, Jason Milson
rediscovered the bird originaly found November 30 at Frenchman's Bay.

Indigo Bunting (Bruce): One bird remains at a feeder in Kincardine, to at
least January 4.
