Total observation time: 6.5 hours

Official Counter:        Noel Herdman, Paul Gosselin

Observers:        Hugh Kent, Liz Kent, Noel Herdman, Paul Gosselin,
Paul Pratt

Visitors:
Thanks to Noel and Paul G both doing a stint as the Official Counter. Hugh,
Liz and Paul P helped out too. It was good to welcome Nadia, Kevin. Shaun,
Jane, Chris and other visitors to the Tower, all showed an interest in the
hawk watch.

Weather:
Slight north west wind for first half hour then moved to south light to
moderate. #varieble cloud mostly clear early in the day. Pleasant 18 DegC
but increased to 27 when the wind dropped in the last hour.

Raptor Observations:
Better Day today with Broad-winged Hawk (14) and Northern Harrier (12)
vying for top spot. A few more Sharp-shinned Hawks, could this be the start
of the Sharp-shinned migration?

Non-raptor Observations:
List similar to yesterday with good variety of Warblers and Flycatchers.
Bird of the day was a Sora, photographed near the Tower and calling. The
list is at https://ebird.org/checklist/S272096446

Predictions:
Light wind from the north initially then turning south around midday.
Hopefully the wind will enable us to see more hawks.
