Observers:
Visitors:
Had company of Deb, from London, (on her lunch break)
A couple from Port Colborne for short time and a younger couple that didn't
stay longer than 10 minutes, but both couples did have a bit of a walk on
the trail by Auzin's garden. Thanks to Su for giving it a shot to get a
count done today.
Weather:
Winds SE to start switching to SW to then finally to WSW.
Heavy cloud then thinning with small patches of blue. Temp started at 13C
and hit 16C by the end of the count period.
Raptor Observations:
Not many birds actually moving today and likely due to the not so
favourable weather conditions. A total of just 137 birds for the day with
mostly TVs (130) and a few raptors... N Harriers (5) and single Sharpie and
Am Kestrel scattered across the 3 hours.
Non-raptor Observations:
Not much in the way of non-raptor activity around ... White throat calling,
House Wren, Red-bellied WP and a couple of Sandhill Cranes.
Monarch count: 8
