Observation start time: 08:00:00
Observation end  time: 16:00:00
Total observation time: 8 hours

Official Counter:        Chris Burris

Observers:        Ken Wootton, Mac McAlpine

Visitors:
A couple of visitors today. Thanks to Chris, Ken, Mac and Su for doing
today's count... not many birds but at least quality birds!

Weather:
A bit of a rotten day to be honest with rain in the air to start and then
clearing out a bit. Solid overcast for the day with temps starting at 18c
and getting to a high of 22C. Pressure was fairly steady for the first part
of the day before dropping as the afternoon wore on. Winds were moderate
from the SSW to SW for the count period.

Raptor Observations:
Very few birds flying today with a total of 54 with the highlight being 13
Peregrines! A few other birds were in the air including N Harriers (2), a
single Sharpie (you won't see THAT statement often!), Cooper's Hawks (3),
Am Kestrel (2) and a lone Merlin.

Non-raptor Observations:
A few non-raptors were reported today including Killdeer (8), LEYE (7),
GRYE (2) and NOPI (15).

Predictions:
Wet to start the day so the only way any flight will get going is if the
front drags the rain with it quickly eastward and the air dries up a bit.
Winds are forecast to be moderate from the NW which is favourable.
